Employee Internet Access

FACT: 40% of time spent online is NON business related

How do we know what are employees are doing on the internet? Are they using Facebook, ebay or MSN instead of working?

It is no longer viable to not give an employee internet access but you do have a right to know what pages they are surfing and if they are wasting the company’s time and money doing things they shouldn’t be.

There have always been packages available which help you to monitor what your employees surf. These packages have tended to be expensive, hard to configure and quite restrictive.

We have a solution which puts the business owner in control of what each and every employee can surf, when they surf and for how long.

The great thing about this piece of software is that it can be configured easily and quickly for your whole organisation or just certain individuals.

For example:

You can restrict certain websites (Facebook, MSN etc)

You can allow access during certain times (e.g. during lunch breaks)

You can allow for a specified duration (e.g. 30 minutes of non business related surfing per day)

The may sound a little too much, however it has been proved that if employees understand a company’s internet policy and they also are aware that the internet usage is being monitored, they are less likely to abuse the internet.

The cost of this software is subscription based so there are no upfront hardware or software costs. The subscription is £4 per user/per month.

The software also comes with a 14 day free trial, with no obligation.
